By winterizing your vegetable garden, protecting it from critters, and watering adequately, you can have year round food production on your property. Left: A hooped vegetable garden at the Holland home supplied us with veggies all winter. The covers are fully customizable and can be pulled off or can be covered with shade cloth for sun-sensitive plants during the summer. Right: These beds were also hooped over the winter and early spring, which gave the summer crop a head start. We created the beds out of inexpensive, decorative rock, lined it with hardware cloth and weed fabric, and had a STELLAR tomato year!
